We all have that list. The one that ranks all of the places we dream to visit. For me, Iceland has been at the top of the list for as long as I can remember. Its magical, fairytale-like landscape pulled me in and I just knew that I had to go. I knew a couple friends going this last September, so in typical Vanessa Fashion, I invited myself and my good friend, Becky. 

The weather was unpredictable, so we learned to just roll with it. It could be windy, freezing, and rainy in the morning and blue skies by the afternoon. That was part of the allure for me; I love all types of weather and how it can drastically change the look and feel of a photo.  

We explored as much as we could, choosing a direction and just going with it. While I do love a good “structured” agenda for some vacations, this one deserved a good amount of just to just explore.
