I photograph love stories for a living and still can't believe I get to call this "work." (like whhhhaaaat?!) Some of my very favorite things in life include the smell of the first rain after a long, hot summer, scheming for my next adventure, being in the fresh mountain air, and when my brides require their to DJ to play the backstreet boys for me at their wedding (because you KNOW I'll be dancing my behind off at the end of the night). I can't help but make friends wherever I go and am a total sucker for spontaneous windows-down, music-blasting road trips.
I stumbled into photography while working at my local drive-thru coffee shop and going to school full time to finish up my teaching degree. My passion lies in human connection and nothing brings me more joy than making couples feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Photographing your wedding day isn't just a one and done for me. It begins well before your big day even arrives by connecting face to face (hellooooo, FaceTime!) and getting to hear your story. THIS, my friends, is the foundation for photographs that are both timeless and authentically YOU. No wedding day is cookie cutter and your images photos shouldn't be either.

Vanessa was an absolute dream to work with. Her Instagram page is a mere snippet of the natural talent that she is gifted with. She guided us through every detail for our Elopement timeline. She offered an insightful perspective and all correspondence up to our wedding day was handled in a timely manner. Vanessa offered to scout locations to help us find a spot to tie the knot; she sent pictures, pins, and landmark ideas per suggestion. We knew we had her booked for our wedding day but the fact that she was willing to go the extra mile and put in the work to help us find a location blew us away and confirmed she was a Rockstar.
She was bursting with ideas and suggestions, a true pro. We could hear the passion in her voice along the way. Spending our wedding day with her felt like hanging out with an old friend, she connected with our other vendors effortlessly which made us feel at ease. We wouldn’t have been able to pull off our perfect day without her. Thank you Vanessa, we will forever cherish the beautiful moments you captured.
