I’ve been friends with Jackie for several years, so when she called me up after she was newly engaged, I was ecstatic. You see, Jackie is not only one of the kindest people you will meet, but she also has a smile (and the most adorable dimples) that lights up any and every room she walks into. So, of course, I said yes! (and then immediately proceeded to do a happy dance)
I met Logan a couple years ago and noticed right away that they just fit together. Logan is welcoming, genuine, and attentive; traits that just perfectly complemented the awesomeness that is Jackie.
Up until two days before their engagement session, Jackie and Logan had their hearts set on Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe, for their shoot. This was where Logan had proposed and so it was a special place to the both of them.
We had the plans all sorted. Location, time, outfits. And then I got an email from Jackie. She told me that Logan had done all of this research and mapped out a route for us in Sacramento. I love shooting in nature, but I don’t get the chance too often to do urban-y engagement sessions. I was sold. From alley ways to rooftops, this shoot had it all.
So, we completely changed our plan and I’m totally okay with it. Friends, I hope you love the result as much as I do.
